St. James Comunidad
The Project
I was commissioned by Laura Murvartian to create a series of visual pieces to support a mural in St. James, Minnesota. The scope of the project included:

For the sign design, Laura wanted to include the names of all the individuals featured in the mural, along with a brief description of their role in the community.
With nearly 30 names, I kept the design clean by using a lettering and numbering system so viewers could easily match each person in the mural with their name and description below.
A QR code linking to the website and a short dedication text were also included.
Website Design
The purpose of the website was to provide more context about the creation of the mural and the St. James community.
Video Editing
The goal of the video was to highlight the community engagement surrounding the creation of the mural and introduce viewers to the Saint James community.
Laura recorded multiple interviews, behind-the-scenes videos, and hundreds of photos documenting the mural’s development.
I reviewed the material and edited two videos: one focusing on the behind-the-scenes process of creating the mural, and another highlighting the community.
